Blogging rationale

I have never kept a diary except Sophomore year in high school, in which I wrote extensively ad nauseum about Bernie, the boy I had a crush on. It’s so awful (sophomoric) and embarassing that I could never discard it, just in case someone dug into the landfill and found it! But now, blogging is so different and the same. I can still make a fool of myself, but it will be more public and have the added feature of photos. Photos are the best part and the writing makes me focus on my life a little. I’m charmed and flattered if you all stumble upon this and are interested enough to read. Thanks so much for stopping by.

Interests

My real interests include quilting, camping, house maintenance, doll making if I ever get the chance, photography, sewing, paper crafting, bicycling with my Bud and collecting most any item with the Scottie motif. In my day job, I’m a librarian for Multnomah County.
